robin-birdRobin Hill Nursery benefits from being an attractive converted house and for this reason it has retained its 'homely' feel. The nursery is located in Meads, a very pleasant location close to the seafront, bus routes and the town centre. There is plenty of parking outside the nursery which assists parents with dropping and collecting children from the nursery.

The nursery is spread across two floors with a lovely garden to the side of the building. The Caterpillars are situated on the ground floor and is used to care for children aged 2 to 3 years old. Facilities include a spacious playroom, art and crafts room and bathroom with low level toilets and sinks. The bathroom includes a nappy changing area and potties to assist children with learning to use the toilet.

The outdoor area boasts an attractive garden, providing plenty of play activities, a soft play room and vegetable garden. The children are actively encouraged to help care for the vegetable garden and any produce grown is used at children's snack time. Children are encouraged to play outside during all weathers so we rely on parents to bring weather appropriate clothing to nursery for their children.

On the first floor, we have the Butterflies. This class is for the Pre school children and consists of a spacious playroom, art and crafts room, quiet room and bathroom with low level toilets and sinks.

Children are encouraged to learn through a combination of adult and child initiated opportunities through activities such as free play, creative play, outdoor play, role play, musical sessions, story sessions, snacks and meal times.

Our highly qualified and experienced staff ensure that each of our rooms are stimulating, vibrant and reflective of the children's interests
